Quinn Ewers has showed he can play elite football against Alabama twice, but his performances against other good, and even average opponents, has left a little to be desired. However, his performance against Michigan, the reigning National Champions, on Saturday was an encouraging sign that he's continuing to put more pieces together.
When asked about Quinn's performance, Steve Sarkisian said, "I thought he played really efficiently. He got completions. I didn't feel like there was a throw that got forced today."
Quarterback play often boils down to how many good decisions a player can make in a row. The position requires continous optimization for the play design in tandem to what the defense is giving the offense. If Texas gets this Quinn Ewers all season, they are a force to be reckoned with.
