**ALABAMA:** Strong finish to get the W. OL not great. New bodies in new places. It's not easy to manage. Especially vs an athletic front that is mostly on the move. Missed pressures, need to sort out responsibility. 52 held up well at LT. 72 fought like hell. RT struggled. QB brilliant with legs. Made some tough throws. Missed a few. WRs helped him out. TEs & RBs need to add more (other than 45). Hit the gas when they had to. 26 created, dynamic. 11 & 15 great on def. 96 made things happen inside. Big late. 34 showed some things off the edge. QB run a bit of an issue. Thought they did a nice job limiting explosives.
**ARKANSAS:** Had it. Fought rear ends off. Have to feel good about effort. QB made big plays. 22 was rippin. Love how he gets downhill. Rush lanes seemed to be hit or miss. C played well. 2 was massive. 9 does a whole lot. Got sloppy late. Drops, fumbles, flags. Clock management strange at the end. There's a ton to build off of that offensive performance. Had shots. 10 made plays on def. 40 disrupted in & out. Needed more pressure on QB. Very good vs run. Good on 3rd. Turnovers a killer. Have to find the positives & show the group how close they are. Have a chance to be a tough group to deal with.
**AUBURN:** Weird one to drop. Lacked rythm on off. Felt like run game could have been consistent but looks were dictating pass at times. QB hot early then missed. Turn it over 5 times & not much else is worth discussing. That decides the game for you. 77 played hard. 75 did a few nice things. WRs could have helped a bit more. Had pressure at times. OL had some breakdowns. Missed some movement. 15 a bright spot on def. Uses his length well. 1 was good on back end. 35 added pass rush but collectively it wasn't consistent enough. Too much space underneath. Allowed QB comfortably operate too often. Needed that one.
**FLORIDA:** Handled their business. 2 looked really good. The poise stuck out. Comfy off play action. Big time ability to drive the ball. 456 the most pass yds by a Gator Fr. 6 will continue to emerge. 3 gave them explosives. Love 13 but gotta protect the ball. Def handled a very different off. 94 caused problems. 34 gives some serious versatility, twitch, speed, athleticism.lot of reasons for a let down after last week, went out & controlled the game.
**GEORGIA:** Handled their business. QB dealing early then faded a tad. Missed a few. Still a really good day. Operated off well, taking check downs, deliberate. Middle of OL had a nice day. Worked together well. Tackles struggled in pass pro a little. You can see how 1 makes them different in backfield. 22 ran well. 14 came in at QB looked solid. Nice zip on the ball. Like the formation use, some double wing! Defense aggressive. 11 is a monster, super versatile. Rushes passer, takes on pullers, drops....29 & 32 brought it. Thought 55 was solid inside. 93 good job later. 18 good on edge. Very workmanlike win. Cut the flags. Not much to nit pick.
**KENTUCKY:** Ugly loss. Had the inside run going. Felt like they kept getting away from it. QB hesitant reads in run game. TEs blocked well at times. 85 some, 84 good. Needed some catch & run & couldn't get it. Could make anyone miss on perimeter. 2 did some nice things at QB. More decisive runner. Injury hurt them up front. DL wasn't bad. 0 disruptive from different spots. Lost contain a few times. Busted a few coverages out of backfield for big games. Just liked a little flat/out of sorts.
**LSU:** Handled their business. QB was sharp. Can make plays. Big arm. WRs super talented. Fun to watch. But watching felt like they tried not to hand it off to the RBs. Tripped over own guy. Extra defenders flying down. But the north/south runs seemed to be there. OL mostly. Great. Some protection breakdowns. Can't put them all on that group. Got some funky looks but have to get that sorted out. 2 incredible. Def missed a few run fits. Lot of misdirection & blocking back that they got eyes out of place on. Played downhill fast. Don't get pushed just don't stay home. 7 & 4 were solid. Like how 40 played.
**MISSISSIPPI STATE:** Disappointing loss. Couldn't stop the run. Made life easy on the OC & QB. DL out of sorts & pushed around a little. Credit the fight. Offensive rythm seemed up & down. Found a few explosive plays. QB has to protect the ball. 3 made some plays on off. Good to see 1 out there. Lack of run game hurt the RPOs & stalled them out some. Old not find penetration on defense. Very little disruption.
**MISSOURI:** Handled their business. QB in command. Directed the off well. Air & ground. 1 had a day. Took over for 3 banged up. OL looked great. Stretch play was cooking. Lot of backs got good work. TEs helped. 7 & 15 disrupted up front. The back end still looking to punish, specifically 1. Def dominated 3rd down. Still high pressure. Need to cut down on flags. Posted back to back shutouts to open season for the 1st time since 1935!
**OKLAHOMA:** Take the W & move on. Defense great for the most part. DL didn't win as many 1 on 1's as last week. Thought they were less aggressive up front. 28 is a damn animal. You just can't fool him. 15 is fun to watch. Can't have vets/leaders getting flags like that let. Just unimaginable for that group. Kept Houston in it. OL struggled some. Banged up & rotating doesn't allow cohesion to build quickly. QB missed a few but makes up for it. WR banged up. Huge game for 87, what a cool story. Lot yo clean up. Lot yo repair but you are 2-0.
**OLE MISS:** Handled their business. 2 been damn near perfect through 2 halves of football. 30 straight completions is impressive on air! 21 got going. 9 ridiculous again. OL solid but a few pressures that can be cleaned up. Felt like the downhill run game a little stronger than last week. 52 did some nice things. Off on all cylinders. 11 looks like a great fit. Nice game. 51 giving them great reps inside. 1 providing juice off edge.
**SOUTH CAROLINA:** Hell of a win. We're the more physical team. Defense was humming. 4 on a mission, blowing up screens, blitzing, in backfield. 90 cashing down plays from backside, tracking screens, disrupting inside. 99 is a problem inside. 6 is just not a normal Fr. Can bend, twitch, get off, speed. He's insane to watch. 0 played fast. 3 was good outside. 91 good effort. Had to get out of 3 down early but managed it fine. OL better effort but still a struggle. Thought 53 played well. 6 was a huge help lining up in A gap to help with 0. 4 was huge bouncing a few runs. QB a playmaker. Just needs to settle in a little more. 20 going yo be a big help.
**TENNESSEE:** Super impressive win. I've tried to tell folks, the TE's are what really can elevate the offense. 87, 0, 19 were fantastic! Weapons! Scored so many ways. 6 is as good as I've seen pressing LOS/blocks. OL super physical. Got out of control on a few pass pro reps. Still plenty to clean up there. QB solid. Missed a few just by a smidge. His legs are also big. 18 good in pass pro. DL disrupted. 55 was a wrecking ball. Like how 19 & 27 lined up other places. 1 was flying around. 11 makes plays. So good a slicing through. 90, 97, 51 good up front. They got up field. 39 looked good a LB late. Misdirection & a gadget play were all that got them. Dominant performance.
**TEXAS:** Massive win on the road. Brought the fight. Matched the physicality & then some. OL great day. RBs patient & stayed within scheme, made really good cuts. Plan was excellent. Widen them out, make them run then get north/south. Quick game early opened it up. QB made some high level of difficulty throws. 85 super valuable. The arm angles & contortions make them crazier. Neutralized opponents strength. D got after them up front. 11 doesn't look like a Fr. 8, 91, 88 nice off edge. 45 & 15 tough inside. 33 saw the game well at LB & packed a punch. Zone defenders got ball carriers down quickly. Dominated 3rd down. 3rd straight road win vs AP top 10 teams!
**TEXAS A&M:** Handled their business. OL better. 55, 78, 71 gave winning effort. Can build on that. Protection better but still a few lazy breakdowns. 2nd group gave good effort. OC gave the QB some easier ways to be successful. His legs helped. 8 ran hard. Most rushing yards since 2018. Seeing things well. Had the jump cut going. 2 can be a legit weapon. QB 10 dynamic on the ground! Thought def was pretty aggressive. Stunted away from one long run. Couple scrambles. 5 great. 4, 11 off edge were good. 15 has some serious length out there. 17 moved around. Nice use of hands. Didn't need blitzes, front got home plenty. LBs active. Liked 22 effort. 45 showed flashes. DBs flew up to the ball for the most part. Just what they needed all around.
**VANDERBILT:** Handled their business! Efficient day for the offense. Don't risk much through the air. Don't have to. 2 runs the show. Makes it go. Worked reads & fakes well knowing it was a bit one dimensional. 28 solid again. 80 can be a playmaker for them. Def dominant. Good plan. 1 was all over. Looks like a leader out there. Rolled a ton of LBs in. 29 keeps flashing good reps off the edge. Took the ball away. ST score, defensive score. Full team effort. Fun to watch. 2-0 now 3 years in a row.
