Prior to the 2024 season, I think most people who watch SEC football would have told you that Garrett Nussmeier is a fine player, but I highly doubt anyone would have predicted how quality he has been to start the year. Through 4 games, Nussmeier has 1,247 yards passing, 13 TDs, and only 2 INTs.

Against UCLA, he went 32-of-44 with 3 touchdowns, leading LSU to yet another victory in a seemingly odd start to their year. Nussmeier #1 in the country in completions (113), and he his #2 in passing TDs (13).

Look for Nussmeier to keep the train rolling this Saturday as LSU hosts the South Alabama Jaguars in Death Valley.
